It was sarah's 30th birthday today. But somehow she was left alone in her apartment. No one really remembered her day and those who did, were miles apart. Sarah's dreamt of many milestones to be caught up till now. But today while looking back she realised she didn't achieve most of them. Her career was not so flourished as she imagined and she was still single.After she broke up with Tim two years ago, She indulged herself in work mostly. And this was how the clock ticked her to thirties.

Well, for her she was okay with all what she was having right now. But today, something felt missing. May be because her siblings hadn't joined her this year. Or may be because all of her friends already got married till now.

And between these life events she hadn't felt a hold on things a bit. So she decided to have netflix and chill. She took a glass of wine and poured some of it for her. Though, she wasn't fan of fantasy romcom's today she felt like seeing one of them.

So there it was, A night filled with magical aura and glass of vine. Well, her mind already told her she is using escape.After reading so much self help books she knew exactly what she was doing. Hence, yes she knew all this netflix and chill was an escape from sadness she carries somehow.

But today it felt different. Yes, netflix and chill was common for her. But fantasies weren't, she loved the idea of magic in lives. She knew it wasn't real and it was stupid to believe. But her heart told otherwise.

She remembered twelve year old version of hers who believed on fantasies so much. All of that made her happy. And today she relived it all ..She was happy. She didn't knew escapes could be magical too. When the movie ended she ended up smiling alone. Like nothing mattered now because she had hope. Hope that something good will happen. Fantasies weren't that bad idea afterall she thought while she slept smiling on her bed.
