She put on her makeup matching her beautiful designer dress. Checked for the umpteenth time that her long, black silky hair was combed beautifully and intact.
A splash of her expensive Christian Dior perfume indicated she was done and ready to go.
Tonight she was on a dinner date with her long time crush, the one she planned on spending the rest of her life with.
It wasn't long before she reached the Dynasty restaurant and was led to the table reserved for two.
She proudly smiled at the other guests, greeting them warmly with her infectious smile.
Ten minutes passed and there was no sign of Ethan so she checked her phone for messages or calls.
"See you soon." That was the last message he sent and that was thirty minutes Where could he be? She wondered.

An hour later...

"He stood me up!" Amelia cried into her father's arms.
"Don't worry my dear, we will teach him a lesson he won't forget! Nobody messes with my baby."
"Maybe we should go and find out the reason why he didn't show tonight." Amelia's mum tried to reason with them.
But both father and daughter were overwhelmed with rage to pay attention to her plea.
"Christopher! Get me my gun now, somebody's about to meet his fate!"
Amelia and her mother stood with mouths agape.
It was too late to stop George now, he was already driving out with his driver and another man to Ethan's house.
