HER
She lays her head on my lap, brushing my brows one more time, her sorrowful eyes gazing at mine, and she closes her eyes for one last time. I have always been in love with one person my whole life. I hold a special place for her in my heart. Never did I believe that one day I would wake up alone and walk around the house where she no longer called me by my name. When the snow was falling, I remembered the day when I first saw her.
It was the 8th of December, street no 30, Laverne Road. Walking on the road with a cup of coffee in my hand standing on the pavement across the zebra cross stood a girl, it was when I first saw her, standing near the tree covered with snow, holding flowers and biscuits. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. When her big sparkling eyes met with mine, my heart skipped a beat. Across the road, among all the people under the streetlight, she stood out to me. The black overcoat with heels and her gray dress made her no less than a star when she crossed the road. I was so in awe of her appearance that I forgot to attend a meeting with a client.
A few weeks later,
I head out of my home to attend the forgotten meeting. To my amazement, I saw the same 30th Street woman meet me as my client.
