Journey to the Southwest 16
Day 16: March past

With how suited my platoon was today, I thought we would win the first place but that was just a hopeful thought. The glove and mask now became useless when we took last and were rewarded with a wooden spoon. A big shame

When the platoon is not coordinated that is what will happen. No one to appropriately direct, I didn't even know my platoon Corp leaders until a few days ago. No one to hold the mantle firmly so everyone was now rowing differently, and definitely the ship would sink.

A platoon of corps having the minimum members of one hundred but no competitive edge at all. We called for dance, drama and comedy and no one came out. We called for Miss NYSC and Mr Macho, but no one came out. We called for practice for other activities, no response just the same people doing the same activities and even to cheer for their platoon, nay they won't. The only thing they know how to do is to collect money, fight for money and shift blame anytime they lose.

What made me even angry was what happened tonight. We were told to submit white top for tie and dye and when it was my turn to collect mine , I searched for it but I didn't see to which the distributor told me to pick someone else cloth. Very very funny, the clothes I wrote my state code and I even marked attendance and someone was now giving me that kind of response.

But I won't take it lightly if I do not see it tomorrow. I will start searching for each cloth tomorrow and if I didn't see it I will remind the platoon instructor because I have already laid my report. And if there is no action I will report to the state coordinator directly because I won't be participating in most of the activities and some one now chooses my own cloth to steal.
Different people with different characters.
