The locket shined like geltering gold
I being the only girl, get to wore the locket, even though I hid my long curls and dressed like man, the locket gave me a girlish feeling, which was unusual
We were hearing unusual sounds, more like a hymn of a flute Jake was trembling, (did I mention Jake and Jordan were twins) 'we are not a pack of middle schoolers, keep moving' Jordan scolded,the cold wind slapped me, melodious tune of flute turned to horrific chants, twigs cracked under my foot. trees shook violently. We looked for our way back, the horrifying fact shook me, we were lost.
I spotted a figure in the mist, Jordan's face was pale, I gathered up my courage to follow the mysterious figure. it ran as I neared 'don't be scared 'my voice rose as I followed the figure Jake and Jordan followed me knowing it is our last chance to escape the mysterious figure led us to a cave, it was soo dark we could only recognize our sounds, I could hear a voice vispering to me. 'Did you hear that' I questioned 'no' they replied in union, ' here' the the sound echoed, a scene of Jake 's head hanging in a tree flashed before my eyes. Jordon pulled me, ' look out' he screamed. I felt a burning sensation through my skin, the locket it was shining in its greatest glory. I spotted a fourth pair of eyes among us. Jordan's hands turned cold 'Let go of me' Jake's muscular voice screamed.
I could not breathe, I felt someone grab my neck, chocking me, my heart raised, my head spinned
