It was now 14 years since they moved into this flat. The father got older and had to retire from his work voluntarily. He did have a secondary source of penny through his private work selling life insurance policies.
So, this one time, he got on to his moped to meet the family of a young couple he met a few days ago during the morning walk. Waiting for the sun to hide behind the final clouds before sinking into the horizon, he called the couple and asked if they were available.
A feeble voice from the loud speaker of his mobile confirmed he could come. He smiled with a short sense of pleasant success and looked over to the sun that was now orange in colour. It felt just right.
Vibrating all the floors in the 5 storey apartment, he started his old moped and slowly paced out the gate. Looking back, his wife waived a common send off.
"Be back home before dark." She yelled.
He nodded and went ahead into the main street. Greeting a few old pals returning from their evening walk, he stopped at the last shop on the street and asked the shopkeeper to give him a couple of mint.
"Dada, clear your dues for this month soon." the busy shopkeeper spoke without looking into his eyes and and nodded to himself. There was a due of a couple of thousands. He opened a box of mint and gave him 6 of them.
"With this it will be 3000/-, Dada". He signalled indirectly that it was already too late.
"Arey, wait for an hour, Am going out , I'll be back with you money." said the old guy covering his ego with a small smile and backing himself again to assure he'll get the insurance policy today.
Waiving back to each other, the old man again started off to meet this young couple. It was still bright and comfortable for him to drive so he confidently took on the Main Road to get to the couple's home faster. A while later he reached their home as the early evening traffic was not too cluttery.
The young couple with bright faces invited his into their house. It was a small individual house which looked old form the outside but was spellbound to see the beautiful interior and modern ambience inside.
"Wow, You've got a really pretty house." he told to the girl blessing her on the head before sitting down.
"Thanks a lot uncle, thank you for coming. You remind us of my Dad." said the girl with an emotional tone.
"It's rented though, hope to buy one such house soon." said the husband.
They sat at the living room sofa and the girl offered the Old guy some water and a bowl of sweet and salty mixture.
"Thank you beta." said the old guy and then they continues the conversation they were having a few days back at the park about the new insurance policies for newly wed couples.
The conversation went on for a while when another person knocked thier door. It was the house owner who came to collect the monthly rent.
The soft spoken girl welcomed him in and offered him the same snack and a glass of water.
she went in to bring the money, meanwhile the husband introduced this old guy to the House owner.

" Aap,.. You.. I think I know you sir. Are you by any chance Mr. Rao.?"
"Ha. ha, Yes. But, There are many Mr. Rao's , which one do you pertain to." Continues the old Man.
