"NO, YOU WILL NOT!!" Queen Janara slammed the door open walking to her youngest child. Aspen looked up and saw his mother's eyes flaring through his soul. Aspen was sitting on his father's throne but immediately got up after seeing his mother. "What is this I hear of you having a girlfriend?" Aspen suddenly became pale, for several years he had been hiding his relationship.
"...........Um.......... I........." Aspen didn't know what to say. "H-How did f-f-find out?" He asked while taking a step back.
"Frostine told me. She saw you kiss a random girl in front of the Infernal Council. Do you know how embarrassing and humiliating is for us to find out our only son is not dating a royal?"
Aspen got angry. "It was their daughter and Counsel Eubulus and her brother thought it was okay. Why can't you do the same for me?"
"Well, they should teach that disgusting child a lesson. And besides, once you dump that tramp you'll be marrying Princess Olwen." Aspen clenched his fist. King Nicholas and Queen Janara we're good friends with King Yule and Queen Nieves. His sister Eira was already married to their eldest son Aster, and both had two children - both girls named Alba and Alaska and now he has married their only daughter. Aspen didn't like Princess Olwen she was mean, a gold digger, and always use men for their needs. He didn't wanna marry someone like that. He wasn't. His only love is Bianca. Bianca was the prince's, true love and always there for him, always had a shoulder to cry on........ They were best friends at first then became something more and he wasn't gonna let marrying someone ruin that.
"I'm not marrying Princess Olwen. Or better yet 'The Royal Slutness'. Or my favorite 'Your Trampness'." Queen Janara was shocked at what her son was saying she had never seen him this angry.
'Oh, Aspen what has that girl done to you?' she thought. Aspen left the room and noticed his footprints were ice prints.
Aspen slammed the door shut angrily. He sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He couldn't stay here anymore. He went to his closet and took out a few things and put it in the bag turned around and saw a letter on his pillow. He went over to his bed, picked up the envelope, tore it open, and read the letter.
Dear Prince Aspen,
The letter you'll read will change your life, you and a few kids are invited on a dangerous journey to see things you've never seen before. Are you tired of being left out - tired of being judged - tired of not having an adventure and tired of hiding? Then come to the Gounge and wait and see.
Yours truly, unknown.
Aspen read the letter 3 times and threw the letter in his bag and opened the window. When he was about to jump his door suddenly opened and stood his sister Iclyn. Iclyn stood in an odd stance and raised her eyebrow.
"What are you doing?" Iclyn asked. Iclyn was always Aspen's favorite sister. He told her about Bianca and introduced them and now they're friends.
Aspen walked over to his sister. "Okay this might sound weird, but I got this creepy letter saying go to the Gounge." He said.
"Isn't the Gounge around the Zaw Valley?" Her baby brother nodded. "And the letter - was the paper dirty and had an ice element symbol on it?"
"Yeah, how you know?"
Iclyn took a letter out of her pocket. "Cause I got one too."
Aspen snatched the letter out of her hand and read the letter, it was the same but with different wording. The Prince look up and nodded.
"Well let's go." Iclyn took back her letter, went over to the window, and jumped out the window like it was nothing. Aspen's mouth hung open and followed her, but was stopped by Frostine who was standing by the door.
Frostine walked past Aspen looking around. "Wow, your room is so bland." She said.
"What do you want, Frostine?" Aspen said.
"Nothing. Just seeing how mother handled you." She smirked.
Aspen didn't have time as he walked past her, but Frostine grabbed his bag. "Oh look what we have here." She roams in his bag, but then found the letter. She took it out and read it Aspen tried to grab it but was knocked down. Frostine looked at Aspen. "So you're leaving your family who cared for you for a stupid adventure. And better yet going to the Zaw Valley - you're mad. Wait until father hears this." She dashed out of the room as Aspen rushed after her. Frostine went down the stairs. "Father! Father! I have something to show you!" She cried. She saw their father on his throne - when she was about to go after him she was tackled by her baby brother.
"Give me the letter!" Aspen angrily yanked the letter out of Frostine's grip. He stumbled to get up and was breathing heavily and his heart was beating very fast.
Frostine got up and rolled her eyes. "Fine take it." She looked him up and down. "I don't know why you're a royal. Kissing a maid. She's nothing, but a dirty girl who just wants attention. She's useless."
Aspen looked at her in shock and all of sudden he punched her. HE PUNCHED HER. He glared at her as she fell to the ground. "Don't you dare say that? She's the best thing that ever happened to me, don't make my life more miserable than it already is." He spits in anger as he walked past her.
"You're crazy. People might look down on you, shaming you." Frostine asked.
Aspen chuckled and looked over at his old sister. "They can shame all they want, I love Bianca and she's the only girl for me." He put the letter in his bag and saw his father waiting for his mother. He sighed and went over to the door when he opened it he saw his mother looking at him in worry.
'What was she doing?' He thought. He walked past her and down the steps. He saw Iclyn waiting for him.
Aspen and Iclyn walked to the Gounge, but Aspen wanted to see his girlfriend. They immediately walked over to the Infernal Council, the council was huge and the Prince took each step starting at it in awe. He immediately became nervous and his hands were sweating. He knocked on the door and using his power heard muffling and the door opened. Aspen's heart stopped and he blushed hard. There stood in front of him was Bianca - his girlfriend.
And her twin brother Cypress - who was super shy and quiet.
Bianca was beautiful and wasn't like any other Inix she was just like Iclyn...... She was angry at things that matter, Bianca had ivory skin with white-blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Cypress was very handsome, had ivory skin with golden blonde tousled hair, and had bright violet-blue eyes that were made his eyes huge by his glasses.
Aspen looked up and down at Bianca's body seeing her wearing a big white sweater and tight jeans that held her curves and round butt. Cypress word the same thing but had worn a big black sweater. Bianca and Cypress, we're quite short as they only came up to Aspen's chest. Bianca grinned showing her dimples and suddenly kissed the young prince. Cypress looked down not wanting to see. Aspen's heart fluttered and grabbed her by the waist pulling her closer. As they kissed they pulled apart and the Counsel daughter grinned and blushed and the son walked down the stairs to talk to Iclyn.
"How are you doing?" Before Bianca could answer Aspen saw a deep red mark on Bianca's face. "Bianca, what happened to your face?"
Bianca immediately covered the red mark. "It's nothing." She said.
Aspen tore his girlfriend's hand away from her face. The red mark looked like a handprint - like someone slapped her. Aspen got angry. "Who slapped you?"
"No one."
"Bianca, please tell me to remember we don't keep secrets."
Bianca sighed. "It was your mother. She said I ruining your future and that I needed to leave this place."
Aspen shook his head. "Don't listen to her. You're my future." Aspen looked at her other hand and noticed her holding a letter. His eyes were wide. "Is that letter say go to the Gounge?" Bianca nodded. Aspen took the letter out of his bag. "I have one too and so does Iclyn. Does Cypress have one too?" She nodded again.
"Are you going to the Gounge?" She asked.
Aspen nodded and told Bianca to come with. She froze at first and then immediately said yes. He, Bianca, Cypress, and Iclyn walked to the Gounge they crossed the border and set their feet on the Zaw Valley. They were seeing people working and fishing and didn't know 4 Inixes passing by. They went over to the Helsi bridge and saw a sign called the Gounge. They walked to the forest and saw a couple of seats in the middle of the forest....... Aspen, Iclyn, Bianca, and Cypress sat down on of the seats and waited. They looked around and saw water around them filled with fish.
Aspen heard a noise near the Helsi bridge and looked and saw 3 teenagers walking over to them. One girl has green skin, red hair, and dark green eyes. The second girl had lime green skin, pale green eyes, and black hair. And the boy had dark skin with turquoise eyes and jet black hair. He must be a human.
Aspen knew the teens coming were Thivans, Calhians, and Xincs. He knew these people were Thivan's and they were Inixes - they're just waiting for a Calhian and a Xinc. The girl watched Cypress with her eyes, Bianca - who's the oldest - didn't like how the girl was looking at her brother.
"I'm Aspen." He pointed to his older sister. "That's my sister Iclyn." Iclyn wasn't paying attention - her attention was on the human and his on hers too. "And this is my girlfriend and her twin brother Cypress."
"Hi." The girl with red hair pointed to her friends. "These are my friends Hermione and Dion......" She sighed. "........ And I'm Sierra."
