SAME ME JUST GROWN
How We Die? And How We Live?
Does It Really Matter? No For Most Of The Individuals The Only Thing Which Matters, Is How They Enjoyed Their Lives Not How They Died And None Of Us Really Care About It, and According To Society We Should Really Not Care About It.
An open Letter to Society.

What is a society? As available on internet, The people in a country or area, thought of as a group, who have shared customs and laws and formed a civilized society.
The definition on internet looks so clean and simple, isn’t it? And I do agree with it and it is a considerable and acceptable definition but in reality we all know that society is not just a simple term to define in those simple words, Everything in this materialistic world have 2 faces or I would love to define it as a Double edge Sword.
A coin of 1 rupee may not have a real value in a market but in a sports game A coin of 1 Rupee decides the winner and loser for the entire game so similar to that coin society also have two faces one guides us how to live and allow us to dream and at the same time the other face restrain us from achieving those dreams, if the dream of yours is not according to the preset standards of the society then, you are not allowed to pursue it, why? Then why the society itself allowed me to dream and if the society allowed then why those restrictions are for?
I have a countless issue with the society, after the day my own parents started opposing my own dreams, and when I asked them for an appropriate reason why they don’t want me to live my life the way I want, sometimes they just ignored it and after getting fed-up with my emotional drama they just told me that This is how the society works my daughter, so now I have issues with the rules and regulations of society, why the society decides how we live or how we die, what we to do or not to? And now I really want to meet that person who created all those rules, why a girl can’t walk on her own to the park or to the school or to home from school alone? Why is it necessary to wear full sleeves, why I am the one always getting suggested to not spend time with a boy and why boys have all freedom and a girl don’t, why we are not allowed to dance in a club or why we are not supposed to be a sportsperson or a traveler?
My brother daily hang out late night with his friends and my family never stops him why? If it is a rule to not roam around in late night then why it is getting applied on girls only? Why only girls getting raped or sexually harassed? Why not anyone raping my brother just because he is a male or the society thinks that he is strong enough to protect himself and I am not strong to protect myself then let me tell you My father had me joined Karate self-defense classes when I was only 9, and I have beaten my brother so many times, so I just want to make a request to the rule maker or the society deciding my life and restraining me from pursuing my dreams please reconsider your rules and laws and allow me to be what I want and live the way I want.
In Starting it all seems meaning full and decent when I was a tiny kid with tiny feet my father always stayed by my side and protected me guided me but now why it all looks changed to me just because I am not that small kid with small limbs or my father got influenced by these society rules, my father promised me back then when I was only 9 that he would let me live the way I want and he never thought of me as a girl or as a boy and never compared me and my brother, whenever he went out to buy the food supplies and other stuff he usually bought the bigger Barbie doll for me and the smaller power ranger doll for my brother, and I do remember, on my brother’s 10th birthday he got new cloths and I cried that I want these and back then my father allowed me to wear his dress and I got happy, so if he allowed to wear the same dress back then, Then what happened now I am still that Aditi, the same I was back then so why I can’t wear the dress of my choice why he is forcing me to wear those sarees or suits, and when I ask my father why you got changed and I want my father the one who never stopped me for wearing my brothers jeans and t shirts, then he just says “ it was back then when you were only a kid but now you got all grown up girl and now according to the society you can’t wear those jeans t-shirts or you won’t get married in a family” so what, it is natural cycle we all grow and age then if a girl grows up, and if her body got changed then is it a crime?
Society is just a concept which allows us to live in a civilized manner with the rules implied on each one and should be followed to maintain the peace but when it comes to a girl these rules get more denser and awful, and these rules must be changed and reconsidered or just return me my father the one he used to be or return me to my former 9 year self.
Society Can be changed only if all Aditis stand up together and fight for the change.
