His & Her plaything
The bed was large and comfortable enough to take a nap on. The curtains were blue, the pillows were fluffy looking, and the room had all sorts of knickknacks on shelves. A small wooden table stood right by my side, next to a small window covered by thick red velvet curtains. I looked over to my left, where two big, heavy glass doors led out to an elegant patio. It overlooked some sort of garden or park, but I couldn’t make it out. There were trees and bushes everywhere, covering most of what I could see. In the distance, I saw what looked like a giant castle, built out of stone. My eyes widened as I realized just how beautiful and impressive the house was. This wasn’t a normal house…
I sat up straight, noticing that a note lay beside me on the bedside table. It said simply, “Welcome, my sweets. I hope you can believe I love you.” I reached for it, feeling the paper between my fingers. It felt soft, but also extremely strong. It looked expensive. I picked it up, unfolding the page and reading it carefully. Who's home is this I wondered. How did I get here? What am I doing here, who could be this insane? I shook my head lightly and sighed. I needed to start figuring out what happened.
I took one last look around the room, making sure everything was ok before getting up and grabbing my bag. When I opened the door, I found myself standing on a marble staircase leading into the living room. It was a nice place. Not too big or fancy, but it looked nice. Two people sitting on the couch turned their heads toward me. I froze when I noticed the woman, staring directly at me. She had short hair, almost like mine, except that her eyes were golden instead of my brown ones. She wore a tight purple dress, which made her look stunning.
