The car swerved around the sharp mend giving a narrow miss to the on-coming bus
The driver, Sam, felt his heart racing as he regained control of the car. He took a deep breath and checked his mirrors to see if anyone was hurt. Fortunately, the bus driver had reacted quickly and managed to avoid a collision.
Sam knew he had been lucky this time. He had been driving too fast on a road he wasn't familiar with, and it had nearly cost him his life. He knew he needed to slow down and pay more attention to the road if he wanted to avoid a serious accident in the future.
As he continued down the road, his mind raced with thoughts of what could have happened. He had narrowly avoided a collision, but what if he hadn't? What if someone had been hurt or worse? The thought made him shudder.
Sam made a promise to himself that he would never let his ego get in the way of his safety. He would always drive defensively, even if it meant arriving a few minutes late to his destination. He knew that one mistake on the road could change his life and the lives of others forever.
