Night Too Dark
#WritcoStoryChallenge
The sun was setting in the horizon. I watched it and wondered should I walk towards it or wait back.
I turn around,
coming back to my skin, thinking,
'The sun was setting in the horizon.'
I argue with myself,
bitter as sin,
the night gets too dark sometimes,
and there is no reason for me to be here.
I better not waste away,
and let the setting sun catch me,
where the night is too dark and
the wind blows too loosely.
I walk back,
only half-convinced,
The sun was gone,
and already,
I catch myself, beginning to
waste away.
