Anne & Margaret were best friends since childhood. They aged together. Both of them got married & had a son each. Margaret's son married a girl he chose for himself. Initially, Margaret's daughter-in-law was good to her but later on she showed her true colour. Margaret's son was influenced by his wife & sent Margaret to live in an old age home. Anne's son loved his mother very much & he married according to her will. He was living happily with his mother & wife. Anne's daughter-in-law was a very good young lady & she also loved & took care of Anne. One day Margaret & Anne were going to a church together in Anne's car. Unfortunately, their car had an accident & both the old ladies got hurt very badly & had been admitted to the hospital. Finally, the doctor who was treating both the old ladies gave up & told Anne & Margaret's sons that the ladies would die. Margaret gained consciousness and was crying loudly & calling out to her son. Her son heard her voice but he didn't pay heed & left her to die. All she wanted was to see his face before she died but her son deprived her of that too. Anne's son & daughter-in-law were crying for Anne & they never left Anne's bedside even for a while. Anne gained consciousness & saw her son holding her hand & crying. Then Anne's daughter-in-law told her about Margaret. Anne smiled & said, "See, God loves me so much. That's why He's going to keep me with him. Son, I want to tell you something. Do you know which was the most special moment of my life? I'll tell you. When I got married, I was shy. When you were born, I was happy. When you got your job, I was proud. None of these moments were as special as this moment when I'll breathe my last breath in my son's arms & my daughter-in-law is crying for me here. Margaret was my best friend & she was a good lady. But she was unfortunate. I've never been good enough but I'm very lucky to have you. This is the most special moment of my life". Saying this, Anne smiled & died. We should love & take care of our parents, because when we were helpless as babies, our parents didn't leave us alone. But some people don't understand this. Why don't we understand that our parents who have taken care of us throughout our life, can take care of themselves as well. They just want love in return for everything they've done for us.
