This isn't me begging just knowing my place, I never lived a day I didn't know I could be replaced.

The beauty in life is knowing that chaos and fleeting moments is all we have at the end of that day, so finding you made the illusion of destiny make it worthwhile, I got to dream for a moment I was in your arms.

Once I found my way back through the memories recalled by a whispered voice found in an abyss while stumbling through the dark that made my heart whole, I knew the colors of the universe.

Being who you love wasn't the cost of my reverence, I just wanted to be the shield that deflected anything that made your eyes dim or your heart heavy.
