Maatiaas and I find him- a man with a baby who wants older kids. His name is Minnio Rooster.
He lives in a simple hay and wood hut next to the bakery where Maatiaas and I got bread.
He finds us after we cry, "Somebody, please, help us!"
Minnio tells us to follow him to meet his wife, Carmelli, and his baby girl, Riikiia. Maatiaas and I are elated to find a new guardian.
We walk into the door of the hut, and Carmelli is giving Riikiia some milk.
Carmelli is a beautiful, strawberry blonde, young woman. She has sapphire-blue eyes and scarlet lips. Riikiia looks similar.
"Hello, dears. Are you the runaways from Pat's?" Carmelli asks Maatiaas and I.
"Yes, ma'am. This is Maatiaas. He's three. I'm Kreena and I'm fourteen I think," I tell her.
Riikiia starts to cry, violently kicking and thrashing. Minnio and Carmelli try to calm her down, but fail to. I sing the lullaby.
Riikiia calms down.
