Is SEX, Menstural Period, Homosexuality, Still a 'Taboo' In India?

Still in India, the majority of them don’t feel comfortable talking about ‘SEX’. It’s a bit ironic since India is the second-largest country with a population of 1.3 Billion people. Even after the ruling of the supreme court back in 2017. which abolished the harsh law implemented by British rule in India ‘Section 377’ Society has not seemed to accept them as normal as most of them (people) believe it to be against the natural way of life. You must have heard about the “Sabarimala Temple” ruling which allowed women to enter the temple but parts of the community and even the govt. MLA’s, Ministers opposed the idea of equality which seems to agree on everything and anything which is a popular belief/opinion.
Since, our childhood we are made to believe in certain things and to categorize things like what is normal, what is moral but, conveniently not answering the “WHY” behind everything and anything because unfortunately, no one has got any logical explanation to support their belief and theory. Parents, elders not even the teachers are comfortable talking about “SEX” in public so much so that when we get a chapter in science which talks about the reproduction system of humans, they don’t seem to care about anything other than what is...
