I use to say there was no heaven or hell, that there is nothing after death. I read something once that made that statement flawed for me. Nothing means "No"-"Thing", so in saying there is nothing after death you're inherently saying there is a Thing to No. We as people have no concept of nonexistence so we don't even have a word for it.
