Gyroscope
I was a restless gyroscope,
Installed with a compass within,
Still confused if which path to follow,
or what battle I should win
I spun in speed that can't be measured,
And wept when I found that I'm still stuck,
I whirled wildly around at a frantic pace,
Kept changing the direction of my track,
I tried to ask this to myself,
What drives my life?
Is it the axis that holds my compass and wheel?
Or it was guilt manipulated by my memories,
Or am I manipulated by my fears?
Am I controlled by my resentments and anger,
Or the approval of my family and peers?
As I kept revolving frantically,
Like a restless wanderer of the earth do,
I found the answers within me,
That already reveals itself in my eyes a long time ago,
You can't get there from here,
If you always focused on what your compass shows,
Listen to your axis,
Its where God hides the seed of hope,
Focus not with your self,
But with Your Life and God's Purpose.
