Aphrodite laughed menacingly ...... although it had a lustful tone to it . Striking Carinae wasn't all that easy considering her intense speed but , she was way faster than her daughter . After taking a lunge and missing , almost being decapitated by Carinae 's dagger , she manoeuvred in an indescribable way , almost as if she teleported in front of her and struck her in the face , hard . The strike once again brought blood and saliva flying as she faltered a bit before getting hit with the whip in the stomach .
Persephone snapped as well and stood , her fingernails growing to lengths of four feet , each sharper than a thin blade of obsidian . Her eyes turned green and one of her fangs protruded her mouth , giving her the facial appearance of an animal .
As Aphrodite prepared to strike again , Persephone knocked her into a nearby glass wall . Shards flicked off and fell like a deadly rain . She got up however , unfazed with a smug ( dare I say ) , even sexy smirk on her face . She threw away her whip and balled her fists . That was all she needed . Persephone came into range and swung at her attractive mother , missing . Again . She dodged it . Again . Missed . She was holding back . Aphrodite cuffed her behind the head before slapping her for disorientation and coming swiftly 'round front , grabbing her head and smashing it into her knee .
Persephone squealed and struck , hitting Aphrodite but with little effect . It did however distract her for Carinae to kick her in the back of her head , causing her to falter before getting punched hard by Persephone , knocking the malevolent mother onto the ground .
"Hmm " , was all she could say before Persephone pounced on her and slashed at her perfect face . Once , twice ......forty times . Seventy times .
An injured Carinae ran towards the barely breathing Cordelia , praying that she was okay .
