“Caffeinated”
I've been drinking it since I was three. I had an asthma attack in a restaurant with my parents. I was given a mug of coffee and told to breathe in the steam. It worked, but I wouldn't recommend it…though I'm no doctor. After my wheezing stopped, I was able to fill the mug with sugar and drink it down. I guess that's where my obsession with coffee began.

In later years, living with my grandmother, I had a horrible time getting up for school. The early mornings were often treated with a cup of coffee. As a teen, I enjoyed coffee as I'd read or draw or write. It often got my creativity going.

And now, as an adult I find the magic of a cup of coffee isn't quite the same as it was when I was young. It used to solve my problems, or at least that’s what I thought subconsciously.
Nowadays, coffee is just a decision, a small way to be happy.

A way to sit and breathe.
