Max's Camp of Life(Chapter 1: First Steps Towards My Desire)
Suddenly, icy fingers grabbed my arm as I inched through the darkness. I stayed completely still and didn't move a muscle. I was hearing creepy whispers in my ears. And I was blaming myself to come to such a place in the first place!
Hi! I am max and this summer my school decided to take the students for a summer camp in the forest. I've always been into adventures things and I was waiting so eagerly for this camp. There were many categories of camping, like the hike camp, the cook camp, the nature camp etc. I joined the best of the best camps and this camp has always been a dream of mine as my brother was in this last year and told me alot of stories about it. 'The Camp Of Life' is the name of the camp I joined. Sadly only nine students were in it.Eh nobody has the guts to face difficulties in life and do dangerous adventures in a camp like I do!😎
The forest in which we were camping was called 'Environmental nature park'....it was actually famous for its great camping sites. As we all were standing near the front gate of the park and looking at the view inside. I said to my friends,"This place sure is a park but looks like a dense forest." Justin and Adam are my best friends and we are always together. We call ourselves the 'Powerful JAM'.
Justin said,"It sure does! I think we have joined the wrong camp....only nine people!? " I said loudly,"WE NINE PEOPLE ARE ENOUGH! Although I think our group will get even small when these three girls will go out...girl are so scared of such stuff!" Just then someone hit me hard on my head saying,"What are you trying to say huh! say that again and I will kill you." Okay so maybe some girls are brave like Vicky. She is super scary plus she is the daughter of our principle. She says that she can get me expelled anytime and calls my buddies my side kicks. She has two side kicks too;Gwenny and Mia. Mia is fine but she acts cool when she hangs with Vicky. Gwenny is nice when she's nice otherwise she is violent and Vicky was born violent!
Anyway, We were assigned with an instructor, Mr Quinn. He was our gym teacher before the break started. He so strict and always grumpy. He always used to give me detention without any reason.🙄🙄 There are many people I hate in my group....no actually I hate everyone except my friends. But who cares... I get to be in my favorite camp😃.
Everyone was having their own camp meeting but our teacher was late. We all sat on wooden benches in the open area. At the back of us was the dense forest! While I was enjoying my beautiful surroundings Mr.Grumpy errr I mean Mr.Quinn interrupted me and shouted,"Alright Folks! Let's begin the circle of life in the camp!!"
Then he started giving his boring speech of his achievements in life and then suddenly a loud noise came from the forest like a huge rock has fallen. Adam thought that the spirit of forests did that. I was confused too, while there was rucuss going on....fire broke out in the forest.....Now that was trouble! Teachers and students all started panicking not knowing what to do! Who could it be!?
