I read it once, then twice. I wasn't imagining it - I had won the lottery ! When I saw the number in the newspaper,I was awestruck. Luck wasn't mine all through my life. But this time, its in my lap in the form of Lottery.
For Sheela, it was just a piece of paper - Paper of Losers. Whenever I am home with a Lottery, we will end up fighting which would take a week's time to resolve. I had always insisted, "One day we will be a millionaire because of this piece of paper". It was the dialogue that I had repeated at the end of every fight.
And now, finally it happened. For the first time, We will have no fight regarding the lottery. And most importantly, it wont be referred as PAPER OF LOSERS there after. I was so excited to go home. I was eager to see the way Sheela reacts in awe.
