It was 11 p.m. Bob was on his way home from the local store where he worked. He rode on his motorcycle and headed for home using the usual route which was quite dark. As he reached a roundabout, he stopped, waited for the last vehicle on the right to pass. When he was about to continue his journey, he saw a white van approaching. He applied his brakes and stopped.
The white van went round and round without exiting. At first Bob thought the driver had missed the exit but when the van went on circling it, he knew something was not right. Bob tried to look into the window to see who the driver was but it was dark and there was no sillouete at all.
After ten minutes, the van still did not exit the roundabout. The atmosphere gave Bob goosebumps but he was determined to leave the roundabout at the first exit to avoid the van. As he entered the roundabout, all of a sudden, he observed that the white van had disappeared into thin air. This spooked Bob so much that he froze in fear. Then a car came from behind and honked.
Bob sprang up and opened his eyes. He found himself in his room and Rex, his white Lab was still going round and round the sofa trying to chase the neighbour’s kitten. And the delivery man was still honking at the gate.
