Till the end of Eternity (part1,2&3)
Serenity..at every corner i turn i see your face. Even in my dreams. What about now am i dreaming why are we at the beach now. Its so calm. Maybe it is a dream. I think i think to much. Her skin is so smooth and her touch so soft. " I would not stop loving u till the end of eternity" she whispered to me. Eternity seems like a very long time but i didnt mind. I felt the same way about her. Slowly i felt her grip on my hand loosenin now. No matter how hard i try i couldnt say a word. As i felt her soft hand released mines i fell to my knees. I felt helpless as i stared at serenity walking into the water. It would have been both senseless and useless to follow, for i lacked the ability to swim. Soon she just dissapeared it seemed as if the the waves just took her in."Is this the end of eternity" i thought to myself. The view of the sea looked never ending together with the broaden sunset. Confused and blinded by the thought of serenity dissapearing, i didnt even noticed the ankle height water i was in resided. Trying to pull myself together i stood up and opened my eyes. Before i knew , right in front of me towered a monstrosity of water, rushing straight towards me. Without thinking i turned to run, but it was already to late. The monstrosity had already swallowed me. The only thing i am able see now is darkness. I felt no presence around, yet there was a faint voice calling out to me.
I had a phobia about bein alone and not being able to see anything but darkness made me felt lonely. I could hear nothing but my heart racing now. I felt a touch yet saw no one. I felt it again and my eyes slowly opened. "Im going now ethan, u dont look to good try to eat and take your meds ok." said Teshana as she passed her fingers through my hair. I simply smiled and nodded. It was a dream after all or a nightmare i should say. Its been 5 years since i loosed Serenity yet i still feel like it was yesterday.
The dream was unrelated to the event of me losing her, yet something about it was familiar. "I think to much" i thought to myself. It is currently the year 2034 and if you lived a few years ago you would kno that the world isnt the same anymore. About 6 years ago was when it all began. It started with a massive earthquake somewhere in the european region. I was far from that event and i really didnt think it wouldve affected me. After the earthquake came a tsunami. Then an unknown rebel group started taking over countries. They called themselves order of the new world also known as OTNW. Apparently they are trying to stop corruption and bring peace to the world, yet everything they ve done is inhumane. Some people even think they were the cause of the earthquake in 2028.
I really didnt think any of that wouldve affected me at the time the events were taking place, me and serenity lived in the carribean. Yet Somehow it managed to reach us within 2 mnths and had the biggest impact on my life. I felt a pain in my back as i stood up and made my way to the table to eat.
Teshana really tries with me, she is one of the few good people remain. After i loosed serenity i ended up on a boat to mexico. Not a first world country but it was way better than where i was at the time being and thats where i met teshana. That was approximately 5 years ago. After i ate i took the meds and underneath the bottle there was a note "i might be back late ok, dont wait up if im not back." In this new world no one should stay out after dark. After the earthquake and the OTNW showing up people started dissapearing. I decided to leave the apartment and take a walk, even though teshana told me to rest up. Only 1 hour till dark maybe i would meet her on the way. The streets are quiet and only a handful of people were outside, its always been like this. Very few people resided here and those who did lived further away from where i am. They only come down this side to trade or scavenge what they could. I noticed the sky was rather dark and gloomy in the distance, but i didnt worry about it because it seemed pretty far away. I decided to make my way back to the apartment upon realising what time it was. The streets are absolutely empty , so i guessed teshana made it back already. Suddenly i heard a loud muffled scream "ahh help me!" Without a second thought i raced in the direction of the scream praying it wasnt my Teshana. Shes all i had remaining in this cold world now and i was not gonna loose her.
