James said to his daughter.

Ma mama once told me.
"Boy, remember the son of whom you are"
"Yes maa", I replied.

"You know them little foxes out there gonna destroy you, so stay real true to your beginnings"
"Yes maa", I nodded in agreement.

"Wisdom ma boy is a profit in direction, so don't trade it for a dime", She continued.
"Come on maa, I would miss the Kennedy's free lift to college", I said so to create haste in mama, But mama was undithered.

"Still son, live a life worth a proud mama and all in all a proud you", She said fighting tears with her arms around me.
"Make mama proud boy", she said in closing hugging even tighter. In my mind I thought woman I'm no longer a kid.
"Maa, come on maa, the Kennedy's would leave me behind", I said primarily so she could let go.

As I rush out towards the Kennedy's, I look back and saw mama's eye red and tears had created a path along her beautiful aged face.

Years after I remembered that scene and I weighed my life, I knew if not for my ma's love and well defined instructions, I would have lived a life worthy of stones.

To Mothers all over, Thank you for loving us even when we act out stupid.
Long live the Mothers
