who am i
I'm special, I mean it's not everyday you get to see a sickle cell anemia patient. I wake up everyday, the rays of the sun shining into my room, and I say thank you Lord because I've seen another day. it's not everytime I get to see a bright new day with joy because sometimes I'm in pain but, I mean some people who are like me have passed away during the night but I'm alive 🙏. Being born like this means I can't do some of the things my mates are doing, I can't run around too much, I can't jump too much, I can't eat certain foods, but looking at the bright side, I get exempted from doing stressful things in school, I don't get caned, I have so many people looking out for me, and I get exempted from stressful house chores and I also have loving and caring parents and siblings who'll do anything to make me happy and comfortable. Being a sickle cell anemia patient sure has its down side but not everyday is bad, some days are good and painless. so, I will not let this hold me down, I'll live my life doing what I love and that is writing, I'll live a fulfilled life because being born like this doesn't mean I'm weird, it means I'm special, that's who I am, a special being.
