Vex's pov.

A car stopped in front my gate almost knocking it over.

"Hello? Delivery for house 108!"
Screamed the driver as soon as he was out the car.

i couldn't make out what it was he took out the car from a distance.

I approached the Gate with my gaurd up.

Flowers?

Who would get me flowers?

Well I am gorgeous maybe my boss had finally come to his senses.

Red roses wrapped in money I noticed before signing my name and taking the flowers.

I read the card and it read:

"For a breath taking goddess. I'm sorry it took this long to notice you."

I laughed triumphantly as I smelled the flowers and dialed by boss's line.

(Phone conversation)

Mr. Niel: Make it quick?!?!?????!
(boomed his annoyed voice through the speaker of my phone.)

Me: uhm H-Hi Sir, hey thank you for the flowers!
( I rushed to say before fear caught my throat.)

Mr. Niel: You Welcom- wait....What flowers are you talking about?

(His annoyed voice shifted into curiosity.)

Me: You.....You
didn't send me roses?
(I asked and immediately broke into a sweat.)

Mr. Niel: Why would I send you flowers?
Are you admitted in a hospital?

(embarrassment and ashamed I wrapped up the conversation.)

Me: I'm so sorry boss,
you the only guy in my life at the. moment.
I guess I read into much what I thought was friendship.
Sorry to interrupt you bye!

(End of phone call conversation)

How embarrassing geez!
just how will I face him tomorrow?

I looked at the flowers and notice that a thick red substance was in vase.

I thought it was weird that they were in a vase but what the hell is this?
