Kid 1: You didn't get a gift?

Just as Mirabel was about to explain, some fat man showed up with a basket full of decorations.

Fat Man: Mirabel, hi! I gave you the special, since you're the only Madrigal without a gift. I call it the not special special, because...you have no gift. I hope tonight's ceremony goes alright, last one was a bummer. Last one being yours.

Mirabel was happy on the outside, but in her mind, she was screaming "Solo vete, gordo. ¿Y qué si no tengo un regalo? ¡Deja de frotarlo!", then the fat man left.

Kid 2: If I were you, I would be very sad.

Then Mirabel turned to all of her family working around the house and decorating everything.
