My co staff.
I had just finished with balancing my accounts when I began to see lightening sparks.Quickly I packed my things into my bag.I got hold of my office key and the stock house key.I was to hand the stock house key over to the Secretary.I had to do so immediately to avoid this supposed heavy downpour.
I came out of my office and saw Mandy(My co-staff).I immediately asked after sheila(the Secretary) and I was told that she went out for a fitness walk.
"How could that be"I thought within myself.Although I knew Sheila loved being fit as a fiddle,I didn't expect her to go out for an exercise work at that time of the day.I quickly asked Mandy where she (Sheila) headed to.She directed me and I quickly left in my car.I had to give Sheila that key if not I may end up being sanctioned.I never really knew why (I didn't think about it either).I got to the supposed location and reduced my speed level.I thought I would find her soonest but i didn't. I called her line but she didn't answer.I called Mandy and she told me Sheila went to a nearby resturant not for an exercise.I sighed,started the car and drove back to the office.By this time I had started to hear drops of rain.
"Oh no"I said within.
Thirty minutes passed but Sheila didn't show up. I called her line a million times but she didn't pick up.I began to feel that Mandy had told me an old wife's tale.I wasn't good at quarelling if not I would have picked up one with her.
When I had waited for an hour I called Mandy.Mandy said Sheila had gone for an emergency meeting and she'll soon be back.At this time the rain had started falling heavily.I thought about my clothes and shoes outside my flat .I had put them outside for the sun to heat them a little.Little did I know that a heavy rain was going to fall.I didn't know what to do.
Suddenly,Mandy came out from her office with those tiny legs of hers and told me that Sheila went to see a friend nearby.At this point I was going to pounce on her.From fitness work to resturant.Now it was from resturant to emergency meeting and to see a friend nearby. I got really angry.My car wouldn't even jerk not to talk of moving when there's a heavy downfall.Meaning I wouldn't go home in my car and moreso I just fixed my hair yesterday and this rain was going to wet it.
As I was in all these thoughts,Philip came to me and told me that Sheila had gone home.Mandy just stood beside him with her hands clasped to illustrate she was sorry.
For a few minutes I stood helpless.How would i get home.And worse of all I'll still be sanctioned the next day.It was like for every thought that came to my mind the lightening seemed to respond and the rain seemed to respond by increasing it's downpour.It was at this point Sheila returned my call.I decided to play it cool with her.She told me that our ceo told Mandy to tell me that I should be taking the key with me always.I was so suprised because Mandy never told me such.I was so angry at Mandy and all she could do was to say she was sorry.

a cab.It was past eight already.Luckily I found one and got home.My bags were dripping,my shoes were soaked and my clothes were a beyound soaked.My hair was also wet.I was wet and shivering too.
"All because of this girl called Mandy"I blurted out angrily.I didn't even know who I was to blame.Mandy,the CEO,Sheila or the rain.But thank God I wasn't going to be sanctioned.I heaved a sign of relief and proceeded to clean my self up.
