Guru Govind Singh was sikhs tenth Guru.He established the sikh Panth(religion). He was son of ninth guru Shri Guru Teg bahadur ji. He stood up for the rights of kashmiri pandits who approached him to intercede with the mugal emperor Aurangjeb on their behalf and ask him to reboke a tax called jizya. The Guru was beheaded by the mugals on orders of mugal emperor for refusing mugal rules and defying them.
Guru Govind Singh ji was only nine yrs old at that time when his father was beheaded. He became tenth Guru of sikhs. He was spiritual master, warrior ,poet and philosopher.
