THE INVERTED HEART
It was a very hot Sunday afternoon around 12pm when I noticed that the service is taking longer than it should, if not for pastor Chris that visited our church for the first time the church would have dismissed a long time ago but as a chorister it wouldn't be nice of me leaving the church without a tangible reason, what if I'll be needed to minister? I had to readjust the tight belt on my waist while praying for the holy Ghost to administer to the pastor that it was time for the church to be dismissed.
I regretted not having my breakfast before leaving for church this morning because I thought that the church would dismiss before 11am as usual, and all the worms in my belle weren't showing mercy, I looked at the wall clock hanged opposite my direction and it was 15mins past 12 pm but luckily I heard the pastor say "let's say the Grace" I was so happy that I didn't noticed when pastor Chris walked up to me, the smell of he's intoxicating fragrance brought me back to reality that I turned around to see who it was but was astonished with the smile on he's spotless handsome face, Wow 😲😳 he was so handsome with pointed nose, tall, not too chubby with a broad shoulders and flat tummy, he should be close to 6ft tall (what a perfect being created by God, I said to myself).
He reintroduced himself, that he was astonished with my voice and the way I ministered, that while I was ministering he was directed by the host Ghost to be my husband, that he had already discussed it with our pastor but was told to meet me in person.
At that moment the angry worms bitting my intestines all left me, I was deeply lost on thought, I fantasized on how I'll be the wife of this handsome dude standing beside me, how we'll start up a family together and be the most talk of the single/married ladies in the church because all their eyes where on my would be husband, but I was brought back to reality when I heard Pastor Chris voice asking for my response to what he just said, I looked up to respond but was captivated by he's smile and he blinked at him, gush what's this dude doing to me? All I ever wanted at that moment was to kiss him because I've been crushing on him ever since I set my eyes on him this morning, but no, I can't fall my hands, even if I want him as much as I know that he wanted me I gat to play the hard girl game, I can't be cheap.
I gathered all the spirits in me and looked up to him but the dude was still wearing the most beautiful smile I've ever seen on he's face, but I stood on my ground and told him that I can't just accept a marriage proposal of someone I don't know, which he told me that he'll be coming over my house with the pastor.
I wanted to ask for he's phone number before leaving the church but no, I'm a big girl 😊😊 and I have to comport myself, he didn't ask for my number so it would look like I'm into him if I ask for his, but seriously I'm really into him, but who wouldn't be?
I hurriedly left the church to my house cus it looked like those worms are returning back from a short holiday, but my mind was still on the handsome pastor's proposal and that he'll soon be coming over to my house 🥰
