Like hitting a rock with a hammer, life hits us hard sometimes. Tell us a story about the hardships in your life.
My life's a testament to perseverance right now. I left my parents' house in October for my sister's house with nothing but the clothes on my back and and a tote box of clothes and nothing else. Then I spent a month in the hospital getting medically evaluated for various issues and now I'm here at this place called Victoria House in Monessen and I know that I am still working on getting my own life together and I know that I can do it if I just take it one day at a time. Every day is a small victory for me and I really am grateful for the fact that I am still alive. Every day is a new day and I really value the fact that I have a life or at least some semblance of one right now because before I left I was in a bad place I really thought that I wouldn't get out of.
