Changing hurricanes : know what you mean
There's a lot to be said about giving up, you know you have the it's, ands, and buts the where's, when's and whys and the how's, who and what for.
So you just gon give up played over and over in her head. Scott walked out and closed the door to what they had together.
Let me explain something, every woman and every man in this world deserves to be happy enjoying their life. Different people enjoy different things but when a person doesn't like, enjoy something they should have sense enough to stop so don't say they just gave up.
What's in your head as them giving up is not important to them when it comes to their well-being. All that stupid shh.. excuse me I mean stuff
you got in your head don't even cross their mind.
Saturday morning meant cleaning up what's dirty so Dela got to work. Everything that was Scott's everything that reminded her that he was there got put in the spair bedroom. All of Saturday was full of chores cleaning, shopping and washing up what was dirty. When she had finished her entire house was pine sol down no sign of his scent anywhere except the lazyboy so she put it out on the back porch.
There's nothing like your spot you know,
your spot. That night there was nothing on TV so Dela picked up her book and started reading when her cell went off it was him so she turned it off.
She had calmly broke things off with him what I don't understand is why somebody just keep bothering a person when they know that person no longer want to be bothered by them.
See some won't tell you to leave them alone because they still want the attention not you but the number you are for more attention.
This means that it's time for her to have her number changed so she did.
Sunday she didn't go to church even tho' she needed deep prayer for so many things so she kept the day open for the Lord's voice. She started that aimlessly walking around with that cluttered mind thing you get after you breakup with somebody.
Dela thoughts were she'll read the Bible wonder where that thought came from she flipped through and what she had high lighted on the page she stopped on was Proverbs 12:16.

A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.

Now what does that mean she thought.
She didn't read any more she wanted to know what that meant.
Dela sat there saying..
A fool's wrath is presently known?
but a prudent man covereth shame?
A fool's wrath she thought.
She wasn't mad her thoughts were on how was she to go about dating again. All the thoughts what somebody else want how they were going to treat her and AIDS don't forget AIDS and that others stuff that somebody could be carrying that they won't tell you they have.
How was she to trust somebody she didn't know when she couldn't trust a man that she had been with for years those kinds thoughts.
Later in the week she had a lot of appointments on her plate but it didn't stop her from thinking about
Proverbs 12:16 .
Mattie held the chair next to hers they often talked so she asked her.
Mattie what do you think Proverbs 12 :16 means?
Mattie said it's according to what's going on in your life at the time that it was given to you it's not what anybody else think you need to ask the Lord.
If the Lord gave you Proverbs 12 :16 it probably was the answer to some questions you asked him.
Dela and Mattie's chair faced the door a tall dark skinned man walked in holding a little girl's hand.
They just looked at each other because that was something they rarely saw, all the talking stopped everybody was just looking at him.
He stood at the door put his neice in front of him and asked, excuse me do you do kids hair here?
Tracey walked over to him and said come with me please. The little girl was wearing a pretty little pink outfit with matching shoes but her hair was in a ponytail on top of her head uncombed.
The shop was still quite so we were able to hear what the man said to Tracey
The man introduced himself and this is my neice Katie she crys when I try to do her hair and told me you're not doing it right.
You're probably not Tracey said she's use to the way her mother does it. . Did it he said my sister passed away and it was only the two of us so I now get to raise this beautiful young lady he said.
What is it that you want done to her hair Tracey asked, something that looks good that I don't have to maintain everyday please.... he said.
He sat the little girl in the chair she looked scared Tracey took the band off of her hair the talked to the little girl telling her everything that she was doing to her hair. The tall man went and sat down in seat right in front of the little girl so she could see him at all time. He picked up a magazine to throw all eyes off of him. Everybody went back to work but it was still quite nobody was into their usual talk or gossip so to speak.
Now that's a thought if we bring in an unknown man into the shop the gossip will be slowed down.
Tracey washed and conditioned the little girl's hair excuse Mr. Caine she said she's thirsty she want orange juice and she can't have soda we have water and soda. I want orange juice she said in a tiny little voice. She'll be ok Tracey said they have orange juice next door so he went next door.
When the man got back Tracey had started braiding the little girl hair with a very nice design
I like that he said Tracey didn't even look up thank you she said.
After she finished they stood there talking about the texture of her hair how soft it was and how to keep her braids looking fresh. We're here if you need to bring her in Tracey told him. Thank you he paid and left.
Nobody said anything but Tracey, Caine she said do anybody know any Cained no everybody said he's not from here because I would have noticed him Tracey said.
The rest of the week went by slow but steady for Dela her cell didn't ring once because nobody had her new number. Her entire weekend was quite, very very relaxing nobody called nobody came by now that's something she enjoyed. Her life was starting to change no worries and no dependant.
