Dating Him Ch.11
Chapter 11

Collins was here too.
I came out of the car.
Collins was visibly expecting us.

"Welcome to my father's house Christa." Collins said smiling and almost bowing.

"Thanks Collins.Beautiful place you've got here." I answered smiling back.

Him had disappeared.I heard him laughing loud from inside with other strange voices.
Collins showed me to the living room.I guess it was just one of the many living rooms of that mansion.I sat on a sofa.A maid came to me immediately with a glass of water on a tray.I was not thirsty. Why would she give me water?
Him came out from a door just infront of me with a tall man visibly in his 60s just like Him.He was holding a pet on his left arm.A cat.Oh I hated cats!

''Honey meet my friend and brother David." Him said holding my hand to help me stand.

"Him you did not tell me she was this beautiful.I stand a better chance than you now beware." David said laughing.
They both laughed like two kids.

''Don't mind David darling. He's such a joker." Him said holding me tight to himself. He gave me a long kiss just in the middle of all those people.I was shy but I enjoyed the kiss.

"Hey Him keep the rest for the wedding day.Let's go for lunch." David said amused.

Him seemed lost in our moment. He did not want to let me go.I had to pinch him on his side.He laughed loud and let go my lips.

Collins showed me a sit just infront of his dad.A very beautiful young lady came in at the moment. She looked cultured and refined. She was in her late 40s.She came towards me and smiled.

"You must be Christa.Welcome to our humble home. You look very beautiful. I'm Eve, Davids new wife."
Humble home? I'm sure Eve was simply being formal. This home was everything but humble.

"New wife?
Where was the old wife?" I thought to myself.
I had so many questions but I needed to go formal first.

"Nice to meet you Eve.I'm honestly very humbled by your kindness.'' l replied timidely.

We took lunch quietly. There were servants everywhere.I was not comfortable.Everyone else including John was used to this.I admired the simplicity and love David and his family showed to their visitors and maids. They seemed very human.

Collins was smiling at me now and then.I'm sure he knew how uncomfortable I could be in formal circumstaces. When our eyes met I thought of the restaurant scene. I'm sure he did too.
After lunch Collins suggested we go visit the parrots.
Him visibly had some serious issues to discuss with David and Eve upstairs.John and Collins made the parrots repeat their silly words and it made me laugh.

Two hours later Him came down and asked me to follow him to the garden. This house was more familiar to Him than to the owners it seemed. He came in and out of every corner like one who lived there.

I excused myself and followed my man.We entered a corridor that led to a very beautiful garden.Glooming flowers mingled with sunrays and singing birds. The decor was heart melting.
He asked me to sit with him on the bouncing hanging bench infront of us.
He took my hands, kissed and held them.
He had a very serious face.
Then I realised there was going to be bad news...
