As I looked deep into his navy blue eyes, I saw such a pain I have never seen before. Who knew such misery can hide beneath the most beautiful of things. All I can think about as I lay next to him is what was so wrong that he couldn't tell me. Was he having an affair? Was he losing his everlasting love he once had for her? Will she forever wonder and ponder over such horrible things? Or will he break out in tears and explain everything?
