Bimal tries to stop the government officials to ruin his crops. He pleads before them,'sahab, please..Don't burn my crops!'
Around six months ago,bimal takes one lakh rupee loan from his village's head. He is a poor farmer of Bihar, lives with his wife and three children. He is illiterate, there is only one television in the whole village. When he takes the loan his wife Radha asks him,'how you are going to payback the money?' Bimal
assures her that he will grow more corps this year and return the money. He works hard for three weeks and plants all the seeds. Then, the whole corona virus situation kicks in. P.M Narendra Modiji announces nation wide lockdown. He is surprised to know that he can't work outside. He has no idea of lockdown. He can't understand that his crops is full grown and why he can't pick it? When he sees his crops are being rot, he can't just watch it . He hears his neighbor bishu is 'corona'positive.He won't know what is 'corona'! How he is related with that.. Bishu was working with him. They goes to pick up the crops and with a shudder they see government officials are preparing to burn their crops due to 'safety' issue. They beg, plead in front of them to not ruin their crops. But they just burn the whole field!! After the officials have gone, the head also come and ask to return his money. Bimal knows they don't have anything to pay the amount. Within a minute, he and his wife pick up the bottle of pesticide lying there and drink it up! Their children come running after seeing their parents laying on the ground.. Thay all are under 10 years. These little children's crying by holding their parents fill up the air...This is real India, it's not in our social media, it's the rural reality during this lockdown situation..
