Panchmarhi: A Memorable Trip-2
After visiting the Kanha Kislay national park,we had rest in the nearby hotel. Enjoyed local taste. In the next morning we took bus for Panchmarhi, the final destination,
A bunch of charming things waiting there. Almost after 12 hours tiring journey,we reached our destination. There we booked a hotel for night stay at a cost of 1200 rupees only.
After dinner,we went to bed, slept never like before,Snoring at the top as if we three competing one another. The next morning after breakfast we boarded on jungle safari once again ,booked by hotel itself,1000 rupees per day. Here one thing I want to tell that there are almost 21 sightseeing points which are covered in one week. If you have enough time, you can plan like that.We planned for one whole dayand told the driver to take main points .He accordingly brought us first at entry point of Satpura Hill Range,Bison lodge.

Bison Lodge once used to be the resident of British man Captain Forsyth, who came across Pachmarhi in 1857 while leading his troop and settled down here. The lodge now caters to tourists visiting the forests of Satpura hills. There is a Museum where a grand display of pictures, models and samples of the flora and fauna of the place. There are tiket booking counter there.we took tickets and vehicle permit. Now moved on, reached the Pandava Caves. These caves are believed to provide shelter to the Pandavas during their exile period. It is now a protected monument and tourists flock from all over India to see this place. Here we visited caves, clicked some pics, did horseriding. There was lots of fun doing all that.

After that we moved towards Rajatprapat i.e. Silver Falls.Rajat Prapat waterfall tears through the rugged hillsides of Satpura and the greenery that covers it from a height of 107 metres in one single, cascading fall. When the sun shines on it, the fall looks like a stream of shining silver and hence it got its name, as 'Rajat' means silver in Hindi. During the full monsoon, the waterfall is a mighty scene to behold. We enjoyed sightseeing here.We felt like sitting in nature's lap.Cold wind was blowing, birds were chirping all around.Falls looks amazing.it gave us thrill.
