Six feet under
Misery colored the city
And the night sky covered my world
I remembered your last words
"You're immaculate darling, don't ever forget"
But how could I
How can I ever forget the years we spent
Your sweet smile bloomed flowers in my heart
And your warm hands held the world
But now it feels heavy on my shoulders
Sleepless nights crept under my eyes
You took my heart with you
Now you're both six feet under
But I still can't accept that you're gone
The grief is neverending and so is my love
August is gone
The summer is gone
Misery fell over me like rain
Cross my heart, we will soon meet again.

© M. in loving memory of August, I'll never stop writing about you.
