Keeping a Witch's Cottage Clean
The great witch Almira of the ominous dark forest can do everything, except clean; these bold statements is according to her one and only apprentice Luna. She has a hair-tearing-bone-rattling-soul-pulling desire to make their humble cottage spotless and sparkly clean. But she is so sleepy, tired and cranky as a tiger, no as a dinosaur or even a dragon. She is just thirteen years old but she's the only one stuck with all the work and chores. The little girl of the witch’s cottage, she keeps cleaning, scrubbing and polishing all surfaces and floors. Because of that the towns’ people keep gossiping covering their mouth and telling her she’s craze. Just because my hands are black and purple because of work, they keep whispering covering their mouth they talk, they always talk. But what can a girl do when she keeps finding rainbow colored crows in the library? Used empty cups and dirty dried dishes in the study, a half-eaten carrot under a book and it doesn’t stop there. Broken appliance strewn all over and open cages complete with lion's jumping rings, what a circus! This cottage is so filthy she explodes; shaking with anger she trudges and stomps unto her master’s room. Livid she abruptly stops, her tears kept falling somethings not right, something feel very wrong. Like a thunder clap all memory came rushing in. Her master is dead and she tried to pretend, trick by her own mind she give in, aboard the madness and workings of the dark forest.

The night when red flames painted the dark forest with ashes and embers, was the night when the great witch Almira died. Stricken by grief after her one and only apprentice was killed, she went crazy.
