"The lazy man and the queen of the river."
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a very lazy man. The man was known by the name Rajan. He had neither wife nor children. He lived with his mother 'Sita' in a small hut near the river.

The village was abound with many young gorgeous women, but no one was ready to marry Rajan because of his laziness.

Sita was extremely worried about the future of her only son. She didn't know what to do to change his behaviour. She always advised him to change but it didn't work.

Rajan never helped his mother and would spend most of his time sleeping on bed and sometimes near the river.

One day as he was sleeping near the river, a young and beautiful lady came out from the water. She was looking gorgeous in a silvery dress. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds. She had a beautiful, long and black hair. Her lips seemed to be tasted like strawberry.

Rajan was surprised to see her. He couldn't stop staring at her. He said, "Who are you? And Where do you live?". "I'm the queen of this river. This river is my home. Every creature here is my friend." the lady said.

"Rajan, you should change your behaviour." the lady said. Rajan was shocked to hear that she knew his name. "How did you know my name?" asked Rajan.

"I've noticed you every time you come here, and I know everything about you.", she said. "You must change Rajan just for your mother.", she further added.

Rajan was quiet for some time. "Okay I will try.", he said. "You should if you love your mother!", said the queen of the river.

The queen showed him how his mother had struggled all day long to earn money, and that she cried every night for her only son. She tried to find a wife for him but no one wanted. Sometimes she never ate because she was too sad.

Rajan suddenly realised his mistakes, and tears started falling from his eyes. He thanked the queen for making him realised the mistakes.

He went back home to his mother. He asked for forgiveness and cried at the same time. The mother forgave him and was proud of her son. Both of them lived happily ever after.
