Tale of Ned
"Hmm, Guy, check out that thing" Squash points at a girl standing close to a pillar leading to the staircase of the second floor of Gs building.
" That is heavy" Osama replied to him.
" I have collect number from her, look at her, so beautiful and curvy, this opportunity cannot be missed" As Squash moved to her direction, he heard a certain voice calling out to him. "Yo, Dave" (By the way, that squash's name). The moment Dave turned to answer him, the girl finished whatever she was doing there and left.
Osama and Dave were vexed and decided to throw their tantrum on the caller. " Ned, wetin be your problem" Osama asked
" What did I do" Ned was confused of the question being asked to him.
"Come for class, you said no, you want to distract others, see opportunity wasted" said Dave while looking at Ned with a vexed but funny looking eye.
At that point, what Ned could do was just to laugh, but then apologized to Dave for spoiling his business.
"Anyways" Ned began a conversation "lectures don start, wetin una dey do here".
"Me, enter that class, noooo" Dave replied, " I no de go that Gs class, u don see me for that class before".
Ned was already used to this reply from him, but what shocked him the most is that, Dave doesn't attend classes much but comes out with a good grade, which made him wonder how he did it.
"Alright" Ned gave up on trying to bring Dave " Yo, Osama, are you coming?".
It is at that moment that Dave and Ned that Osama was not even in their conversation but looking at something that he considered "Heavy"(If you know, you know).
"No worries, you are a lost cause" Ned gave up on him too.
Osama heard the last statement and used his normal method of threatening Ned "If I pick cane for you". Little did he know that Ned had a comeback, which was unexpected "If you finger you". For the first time, he silenced Osama and shocked Dave. There was a brief moment of silence before the three began laughing.
Ned found out the class was not holding anymore and luckily for him, that was his only lecture for the day, so he went to do one of the things he loved to do the most: Meet up with his guys.
"Yo" Ned stopped for a moment, he could recognize the voice from anywhere.
"Chris, what's up", here told in from him Chris, his coursemate and closest friend.
"How far, lectures no dey hold?" Chris asked with a smiley face, it was so obvious that Ned knew the answer his buddy was looking for.
"Nope, we're free today" Ned replied
"Woohoo, COD time" Chris said with excitement.
Since getting his new phone, Chris has joined the league of COD players alongside other pro COD players.
"Oh! Before I forget" Chris remembered a specific information meant for me, "Shini said I should ask you if you're with his charger"
"Nope" Ned gave a quick reply "But I hope who whoever took it would return it sooner before he enters rampage mode" Ned and Chris burst out laughing.

Xavier AKA Shinigami, Shini for short, is a good friend of ours and founding member of our group "Da Hood" (we'll get to know them later).
He is mostly referred to as "monarch" due to his ability to have his way around girls.
There's just a slight problem: He's not normal, well none of us are but he's different.
One slight look at him and you will think that he is from an art faculty, shocking to us all to find out that he is a pharmacy student. He doesn't behave like one.
He mostly expresses his violent self when it comes to playing games especially Naruto Storm.
"WHY ARE YOU NOT MOVING, IS THAT WHAT I TOLD YOU TO YOU TO DO" He shouts and tends to break something, almost broke me, I was lucky that day, but I guess that's what makes him him.

"So, where are they" Chris asked
"Oh! You mean the hood" Ned asked curiously.
"No, Bad niggie them" Chris answered sarcastically.
"Nice one" Ned acknowledged his fluent sarcasm, after all, Chris wore a shirt that was boldly imprinted " I speak fluent sarcasm".
"I think they're in Theatre B, I think I saw the others going in"
Ned finally decided to reply.
Chris held him by the shoulder and began taunting him "Philosopher, you just dey think, you no go use that same brain sabi how to talk to woman, attend classes, no" (it's not the "class" you think).
"Anyways, where's Osama and Dave?" Chris asked.
"Over there" Ned showed him the way.
On arriving, Dave and Osama greeted Chris with the new nickname given to him by Dubem.
"All hail the Booty-Clapper" they both said and began laughing, Ned joined the laugh too.
Usual Chris, just smiled and shook both of them.
"Una still dey scope, una no fit rest"
We recognize the voice and knew who it was.
"The simp himself" Chris said while greeting Dozic.
Everyone greeted him and had their own turns to taunt him.

Dozic is known by many names: the pimp, the simp, fairly used boyfriend, the annoying dribbler.
Yeah, he plays football, both virtually and reality.
He has this notion that he doesn't lose any finals he goes to and surprisingly, it works.
Above all that, Dozic is one of the smartest guys in the philosophy department and a member of da hood.
He has his importance. He can give legit relationship advice (Although he doesn't have a girlfriend).

Dozic suggested that we should all move to Theater B but Dave and Osama insisted on staying behind,much to nobody's surprise.
While on their way, Ned began telling them the beast that was caught roaming about in the night, to spice it up, it was a half human, half dog. He believed that they might be others.
But unfortunately for him, both Dozic and Chris were non-superstitous, so they didn't believe him.
"Dude, you know this things aren't real" Chris replied
"Yeah, they don't exist" Dozic continued "Why believe something that you haven't seen".
"But I have seen the video" Ned decided to defend himself. He played the video in his phone, hoping he could prove a point but they still didn't believe.
Ned gave up on trying and ended it by telling them to be careful at night, that they might not know what might occur. As expected, The two laughed it out.
"Hey, is it true that Rekka's house will be free today" Chris asked
"Yeah, his parents travelled with his sister and his bro is not around" Ned answered.
"At least, I get plans for tonight" Dozic talks while stretching his body "Time to wrap up the day".
The trio finally arrived at Theater B and were greeted by the usual way: noise emitting from the room, the kind of noise that could make someone who has been in a coma for a long time to wake up.
They could see the large amount of people leaving the room because of the noise been produced, even classes nearby could feel the vibrations of the sounds in their ears.
They knew there were in the right location!
"Chai" Dozic exclaimed while holding his waist like a girl, wearing a mood that could be comparable to the look of an angry bird or of a landlord waiting for his tenant to pay the rent.
"They can never change"
Ned and Chris looked at Dozic and then looked at each other and wondered what he was thinking when he actually said that, knowing the definite answer.
That night, awoken from his sleep by the expected disturbance of bed bugs in his room, Ned rose up from his bed, angrily stepped out of his room to try and calm himself, his roommates made jest of him because he couldn't believe he could have them on his bed, in his room.
Well, he stayed in hostel, what else did he expect!
"Well, more valid points to use and get out of here" Ned thought with a smile which was immediately replaced with a weary face.
He didn't know how he was going to go through the night with the amount of insects in his room.
Not only bedbugs, but in collaboration with mosquitoes, they made the hostel nights one to never forget.
But he couldn't do anything about it, he just had to go through the night without any scars on him.
The next day, Ned hadn't woken up yet, he went the whole night with his eyes open and twitching.
The annoying bugs didn't give him peace, so he stayed awake till' 6 in the morning.
Knowing that his room has been infected, he decides to take a nap in Chris's room, whose hostel is at the opposite side of his(Ned) hostel.
Since Chris's room is at the top floor, he had to climb the stairs with his dark shades and baggy eyes which looked like it could fall at anytime............
