Journey to the Southwest 21
Day 21: Last Day

Finally we left camp....
The day we were looking forward too is here
Some were happy while some did not have settled minds, like me.
Starting life afresh with no one to correct your footstep. You made a mistake, you face the consequences.
I was posted to abejide or ajibede, I can't really remember the name, in abeokuta south at Faith international college, with no sense of direction I followed the National association of Catholic Corps members to their family house because I heard that living expenses in abeokuta is high.

The journey took up to two hours on the road, from transport fare argument to cash transfer and motor checkup. Thanks be to God we got there hale and hearty. With the stress and tension I decided to rest for the day and embark on my journey to my primary place of assignment tomorrow. But with the rumors of low payment going around got me afraid. I just hope that mine will be different.

A lady traveled with us down to the corps lodge, she was crying her eyes out due to the Primary place of assignment given to her, I really pity her because it's not easy these days with how costly and expensive everything is now. I just wish her luck in her relocation.

Now I remember that I won't be able to get the three square meal given to us in the orientation camp ground again. That was the only part I missed there, now I will have to go on hunger strike most of the time. Adulthood is really a scam, can I be a Peter Pan? Never to grow again.
