Lethal emotions
"Emotions are fatal when they work against you."

***********************

Have you ever felt the feeling of being unwanted in a conversation just because you don't know what they are talking about?

Have you ever felt the feeling of being alone all the time even when your are surrounded by people?

Have you felt the feeling of insecurity giving you the longest cold shower in your life, every single day?

Trust me, it's normal. Those are also the reasons to why you are known as a, living and breathing human being. It's not always a piece of cake to suddenly decide that you would be confident today. It's difficult to adapt to changes especially when it comes to you.
Everytime you walk, insecurity follows behind.

"Do I look okay?"
"She looks so much better than me!"
"Why does my clothes look like I just dropped down from a dumpster?"

Sometimes, the questions that overpowers your rational mind gives you a unannounced whiplash! It's frustrating to listen to the thoughts that are against you. Even when you walk on a stage, completely prepared for your speech, you still fidget inside while smile on the outside. That's a form of insecurity.
And top of that, millions of strangers' eyes upon you make you feel like you will be doing everything wrong. It's stage fright.

Everytime you walk through narrow, dark pathways, you look back at least once or twice. That's another insecurity.

The worst feeling is when people stab you with mere, harshful words. Yes, Words are literally the sharpest weapon ever you can use to a person.
Words not only pierce you deep but it damages your entire being. Sometimes, you will prefer the stab of a knife over words.
A simple 'no'makes a person weak in the knees.

Other two enemies of yours are, fear and greed.
Let me narrate you a scene that I learned a lesson from.

There was once, when my sister was lost in a unimaginably huge crowd. The probability of finding my sister was a large 0 when we can't even search through this large jam. My father was finally in the prison of fear. He started screaming and pushing through people just to find my sister. He even tripped over multiple times while he was unaware. He didn't care about his pride, he didn't care that several people were watching him as if he went crazy. He was consumed in fear to find my sister.

And me? ("I was busy eating.")
Trust me, it's not that I didn't have a connection with my sister.

The difference between me and my father is, he chose to give into his fear while I refused. As I ate silently, I just kept praying to get my sister back.
And thankfully, we got her back after few hours just because my sister did the exact thing I did.
She refused giving in to fear. Of course, she cried a lot once she realized she was away from her family. But, when she stopped wailing, she finally used her rational mind to think of what to do. And she came off as the hero!

See! Fear not only cages you but runs deep through your veins. I won't be surprised if it can actually ship a person off to a mental institution.

Greed however is totally lethal. It consumes your entire existence. It leads a person to commotion of murder!
Greed damages a person for life since it's much more fatal than an alcohol drink.
It takes away sleep and plants dangerous thoughts that you wouldn't dare to do.
Greed is the reason to why people in my country is suffering today. It's why they are losing people on daily basis!
It's extremely contagious that covid-19 and it's scary to consider that there is no cure for it.

To all the people who actually read this,
Think carefully with an open mind when you deal. If you feel fear crawling up, do something to diminish it and never, I mean never give into it. As for greed, try your best to stay as far as you can from it.

When you are insecure, avoid being anxious and I know it's easier said than done. But, try hard to not let it wash you away from the shore.

That's why they say,
"Never take a candy from stangers."
