The email he has received today is marked urgent. But it's from a friend who died two years ago! He wasn't sure what to take of it. He was there at the hospital back then. His friend who layed on the hospital bed lifeless, flashed his mind. He rechecked the the email address. the same one his friend made together with him in high school. Is it a prank? But wondered who could have access to the account other than him and his late friend.He wasn't sure if it was right thing to open it. But, he knew "I have no choice if I want to know more". He then opens it.
"Hey man" the letter said "If you get this email, know that you're in grave danger. And that there are people who might already have tracked your whereabouts. Before you hear what this is all about, you must know what to do and to get safer. Attached is a list of things you need to do. Print it and back up all your data while you check through it". He swallowed at the sound of the email. A sweat drop slowly drew its path down the back of his neck. He quickly printed the file. There were two pages. in the meanwhile he set all his data on PC for back up. Then his mobile too. He left the mobile on the desk and took the print outs. the list was numbered. it started with closing all the curtains and locking all the doors from the inside. He did so ensuring every entrance to the house is locked and covered. The he read the instructions one by one and followed them. He packed a small back pack with basic necessities. He took everything precious to him. He almost cleaned the entire house so that there would be as less number of traces and finger prints as possible. Then he threw all his worn clothes into the washing machine. He set his bed right. He burned all the leftover food in the fire place. He then found the data backed up so he deleted all the data both on his PC and Mobile, as in the instructions. "So thorough!" he was surprised "To calculate even the time it would take for back up and the chores". Then he was asked to clean the PC and mobile of his finger prints too. He even had to clean the SIM and the memory card! Finally the instructions felt a little real for the next one asked him to take the bag he packed and to go to his bathroom. There he checked a corner tile right behind the door at the top as in the printouts. He pushed it hardly and it got pushed in!...
