Part 1 - Vacation at the beach
All set for my dream vacation, I thought with a satisfied smile. I checked the time on my watch. 9:42 am.I had plenty of time to prepare myself a light breakfast. The guys had planned to pick me up around 11:00 am. I had about an hour to eat, check my bags and secure the apartment.
I headed toward my kitchen, the prettiest room of my small apartment. It was painted in pastel turquoise with small white daisies decorating the walls, a four set glass dining table, with colors matching the kitchen accessories. The rest of the apartment was painted in bright white with different colorful patterns in each room. I had taken me two full weeks and weekends to finally obtain this result.
My friends wanted to help so I allowed them to carry the heavy furnitures. After finishing my cereals and glass of tangerine juice, I pulled my cell out of my pocket to log into my Facebook...
