As the girls kept flipping through the old book, they found a part written in a really ancient language. They thought maybe it could help them. So, they started reading it out loud, hoping it would stop the creepy stuff happening around them.

At first, it seemed like the spooky things backed off a bit. But then, they came back stronger, making it harder for the girls to keep going. They knew they had to finish reading the weird words to stop the nightmare, so they pushed through, even though they were scared out of their wits.

Just when they thought they might succeed, a scary laugh filled the room, drowning out their voices. The pages of the book started acting up, making it tough for the girls to keep control.

When they looked again, the book was empty, like nothing had ever happened. They shut it tight, hoping it was finally over, and stepped back into the real world, knowing they'd narrowly escaped something really bad.

But they also learned a big lesson: some secrets aren't worth uncovering, and curiosity can lead to big trouble.
