SEASON ONE.
Episode 1.
'Down so deep'
"Hey! you guys coming or what ? Dave teased as he tried to push himself through the small crevice sandwiched between huge rocks. "I think this is just one of Dave's bad ideas" Tim whispered to me. There's is no way I'm going in through to who knows where in the middle of a forest, for fucks sake! Are you guys even serious ?" Tim complained. After quite a struggle Dave disappeared deeper into the crevice.
"You know what, I'm up next!" I smiled at Tim as I jolted towards the crevice. "You guys never listen to what I say, this is a terrible idea!" Tim screamed. "There's is only one way to find out, quit complaining and join us, unless you wanna stay here creeped out by yourself ." I shouted back. " That Is exactly what a route to the devil's hall looks like, and you guys are going straight for it..." Tim unrestlessly interjected while stuffing his things in a bag.
" You go home and kiss your little sister and mommy for me, while we men go out and have some fun." I said as I peeped through the hole to see if I might catch a glance of Dave. "Everything was going on well with the booze and the weed, untill Dave upgraded into a full time creep. Tim talked back.
I squeezed myself through and it got harder the further I got, but atleast Dave went through and he weighs more than I do. "Dave! Dave! can you hear me? " I called out loudly. "Don't be such a baby girl, it's gonna get abit tight but I'm just fine out here further ahead with a huge room to myself." he echoed back atleast from a distance not far from where I was. With some excitement ignited, I pushed further into the tight walls with the light from my torch as hope.
My chest felt too crushed that I could hardly breath but I managed to get through. " Welcome aboard sir!" Dave joked as he pulled my shoulders through into the opening.
Upon release from the tight grip, I took a lung full of air in ecstacy after an eternity of air deprival.
"Where is Tim ? "Dave asked as he peered through the whole. "Guess he chickened out didn't he..." Dave added.
"Yeap, he says we're on a quest to the devil's hall." I said as I tried to looked around trying to aquint' with the environment. " He actually said that?haha!," he laughed.
"Looks like a dead end doesn't it ?" Dave asked as he shone his flashlight round the rocky room.
"looks like it..., but wait, what is that ?" I asked as my heart started beating faster.
"What is what? I can't see shit ?" Dave leaned towards my perplexed self and looked towards my sight. "Damn it just moved!" I shouted as I began crawling away towards the wall.
"Chill out man! wtf! might be just a burrowing mammal, perhaps a mole" Dave explained while moving towards the moving rocks. With his flashlight tightly gripped, he walked cautiosly towards the area of disturbance and began rubbing the area with his legs.
"I don't think that's a good idea Dave, might be a snake, we just walked to a snakes den...we are so fucked up!" I complained. Dave appeared to give no care in the world as he went on ahead and removed his 'climbers pick axe' from his bag and began to dig vigorously. For a while nothing happened untill he decided to give up and embark on our trip back. "Alright, funs over, we better get back before Tim shits on himself." Dave exclaimed as he got up and wiped his muddy fingers against the wall. I couldn't explain how happy I was after hearing him utter those magical words, I couldn't take anymore of this dump place. From my flashlights view everything around was soggy and wet with some white growths. "let's scribe our names atleast, we might be the first humans to ever be in this cave" He quickly picked a small rock and began shaping his name on the wall. I still wonder what goes on in Dave's head, he must consume alot of calories to run his brain.
Dave was always the most hyperactive person in our trio' since we were kids. We would always be in trouble by default for as long us we spent a minute around Dave. We always did find his spirit hard to tame most of the time.
After an eternity of scribbling our names against the wall, Dave signaled that I should go first by nodding while pointing his head towards the opening we came through.
"Perhaps Tim decided to leave, we kinda overstayed down here," I reasoned. " I don't think he left, he was afraid of the bats we came across while cruising in the forest, he must be pissing and shitting all over after we left" Dave added and we both laughed. I immediately began crawling up into the opening and squeezed myself through. It was going to be a hell of a crawl, I took a deep breath and pushed further through. Aluta continua!

Dave's Point of View🌷
The cave didn't meet much of my expectations, I actually don't know what I expected to find down here. Perhaps some old treasure hidden here or some ancient book or stuff, but all was in vain. I watched as Sam squeezed through and got out of sight as the place was quite dark, I could feel this space carried more that just emptyness and dump walls, I shone my flashlight around for one last time and murmured a small goodbye and immediately began to climb up to the opening.
My broad chest was going to suffer as it was not as small as Sam's. I immediately began to squeeze through while taking shallow breaths as my chest was already squeezed.
No sooner had I crawled half of my body through, i began to hear echoes coming from the cave. The echoes sounded as if from a human, how could that be! the echoes sounded like speech but not from a language I could understand.
I immediately felt my legs grabbed by cold icy hands, my heart was now beating loudly that I could hear it. My body froze with fear that I couldn't breath anymore. "Sam! Sam! I think something just grabbed my feet" I screamed at Sam who seemed to have not heard me. I began yelling and screaming but I think I produce no sound asy chest was clung by the walls. I felt as if I was suffocating and dying at the same time. My mouth went dry from my screams and only a whispered cry could be felt byy vocals.
The icy touch caressed my feet an grabbed both my legs tightly and began pulling back with so much strength that I could fee my body coarse the wall painfully, I tried crawling back in but the strength from whatever was pulling me was great! I immediately landed into the cave with my head hitting the rocky floor painfully.
All the pain was numbed immediately I turned and saw what pulled me back! I could not believe my eyes anymore, I felt my heart stop for minute...TBC
