Extracting the heart of an infant with a knife, forcing the mother of that child to eat it, or dismembering the child and making a garland of its organs for the mother to wear, throwing newborns around like balls, abducting women and young girls, committing atrocities repeatedly, forcibly converting people to another religion, and vandalizing temples and other religious places—these are just a few examples of the atrocities committed against Hindus, especially Hindu women, during the Mughal era.
