A wet leaf fell on her shoulder making her jump in fear. Startled she shifted from her hiding place behind the bush, only to be scared again.
After she took a breath, she saw the person standing in front of her. She laughed at herself, for getting scared over nothing.
The man standing in front of her was........her boyfriend, Peter.
"Why, were you hiding behind the bushes?" he asked.
"I was gonna scare you," she replied, "but I got scared....."
He laughed at the tone of her voice, "learn from this," he took her hand, "you can't scare me."
Together, they walked home and that was the last time Penny tried to prank Peter, but he would later also try to prank her. She fell for his pranks everytime.
