Her misfortune.. (LC-2)
That was the last conversation both had since then. After Flair reached her work place which was in another city, she got busy with her work.

Flair was actually a staff nurse and was sent to another hospital in another city to take care of the covid patients as there was need of more staffs. Her time of work was so packed that she didnt even had enough time to make calls in her home, let alone talking to Kash. Even so, Kash never forgot to message her daily.

He knew that she's really busy in her duty though with the hope that she'll see his message someday and will reply back, he messaged her daily. Though Flair didn't called or messaged Kash, she missed him badly. He was always there in her thoughts. She used the remember the last day when they were together on the terrace. Yet, everything was going on a flow.

One fine morning, Flair was not well from the morning itself. It was really difficult for her to even get up from her bed. Somehow she made it and got ready. She came out of her room and was standing on the stairs.

But all of a sudden she got giddi and fell off the stairs. Though the height was not much but there was a wall at the end of the stairs and she hit that wall immensely. That floor was full of blood. There was a great noise and a huge crowd gathered there.

In a flash a stretcher was brought and she was taken to the emergency room. Immediate scans were taken because she had hit the wall and wound was deep. Everything was informed to her family. When all reports came, it shook everyone because she was covid positive but the great shock was felt when they came to know that she has loss of memory because of that hit on the wall.

After 48hrs, she opened her eyes. She was in the ICU still in isolation. She saw her parents and her brother standing outside the room through the glass but she didnt recognised them. Her mother burst out into tears.

After few weeks when her report came as negative and was almost stable to stand, she was discharged.
But still her memory had not returned. Days and weeks passed but there wasnt any change in her condition. Everyone was really worried about her.

Now Kash too started wondering why Flair was not talking to him. He called her several times but it said that that number doesn't exist. He got really upset and decided to find her...

..to be continued..
