"It's a girl! "
The doctor gushed, placing the wailing infant on the woman's chest.
She heaved trying to catch her breath in the aftermath of her gruelling labour. Tears of pain mingled briefly with tears of joy before dissolving into tears of sadness.
She had once again given birth to a girl! Her third daughter. What would her husband and in-laws do to her now?
She was scared but she was determined to not let anything happen to her daughter. The girl is still very young and innocent, what is her fault in this?
This is her right so that she can live freely.
Before her husband and in-laws could do anything, with the help of the doctor she filed a report in the police station for the protection of her daughter.
With this they couldn't harm that girl and in the end they accepted her.
The court told the importance of the child to them and the rights of the girl.
